2/25/2023 0 Comments A system shutdown is in progressIs there a Citrix or Windows GP policy that could be set to removes the mounted User Layer after user logs off from XenApp Server? Perhaps will fix the issue. Rebooting the XenApp Server, and re adding the account in Citrix Receiver, resets the whole thing, and the user can login again as a first time user without any issues. When I tried to shutdown again today I got the same problem Mind that this is a quite pleasant case of an update that got stuck. However, a windows error msg appears “using default user profile…” and no User Layer storage mounted. .Ě system shutdown is in progress.(1115) I left the laptop in my desk and it took more than 6 hours to shut down. Ignoring these error msgs, the user session works fine and runs applications without any problem. However, when the same user logs off and logs back in again, App Layers mounts fine but the UserLayer throws back an error msg “the system was not shutdown properly…” as well as windows error msg “We can’t sign into your account…”. The XenApp Server boots up fine with App Layering and I am able to loginto it with Citrix Receiver 4.11 installed on a Laptop, the App Layers and User Layer mounts fine in the Xenapp Server. The server hardware is HPE M元50 Gen9 Xeon 16core dual CPU. The layered image template published to PVS server also has Nvidia vGPU installed. The ELM is 4.11 with User App Layering enabled. I have a related issue in my lab, I am using a XenServer 7.2 environment with XenApp 7.18 server running Win2016OS, deployed as PVS 7.18 service.
